Alliance Defense Fund senior counsel Brian Raum says the judge’s claim that there’s no reason for marriage to be defined as one man and one woman should go down as one of the, “most outrageous rulings in court history.” He says it flies in the face of popular opinion. But besides the legal reasons there are other reasons that encouraging homosexuality is not a good idea, it’s inhumane.
Why? Because homosexuality is an unhealthy lifestyle! Greg Quinlan, a former homosexual admits it is a lifestyle dangerous to gays well being. He discovered that the physical and mental devastation caused by homosexual behavior, and the long term effect of that behavior, “is incalculable.” The newfound power of the homosexual community has left the American public largely in the dark about the extent of the medical problems associated with homosexuality. Medical professionals know of the dangers. A 1997 New York Times article reported that a young male homosexual has about a 50% chance of getting AIDS by middle age.
In addition, there is a long list of other maladies caused by homosexuality. Of particular concern is cancer of the intestinal tract. Homosexuals have a 4000% higher risk of that getting that cancer than do heterosexual men. Other maladies include herpes simplex virus, gonorrhea, viral hepatitis types B & C and syphilis plus many other maladies. So when people oppose homosexual behavior it doesn’t have to be bigotry; it can be out of genuine concern for those caught up in the lifestyle.
